Campbell<\/h2>\n<p>StepUP! is a prosocial behavior and bystander intervention program that educates students to be proactive in helping others.\u00a0The program focuses on teaching students how to intervene safely in problematic situations including alcohol abuse, hazing, sexual assault, discrimination, and more.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>All incoming freshman at Campbell participate in this training during Camel 101 each fall semester.\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>It&#8217;s On Us Campbell<\/h2>\n<p>Campbell University is taking the pledge and making a personal commitment to help keep women and men safe from sexual assault as part of the &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/itsonus.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">It&#8217;s On Us<\/a>&#8221; campaign.<\/p>\n<p>We can all prevent sexual assault. It\u2019s on us, as a Campbell family, to<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>recognize that non-consensual sex is sexual assault,<\/li>\n<li>identify situations in which sexual assault may occur,<\/li>\n<li>intervene in situations where consent has not or cannot be given, and<\/li>\n<li>create an environment at Campbell University where sexual assault is unacceptable and survivors are supported.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>SAAW<\/h2>\n<p>Sexual Assault Awareness Week is held each fall.
