{"id":553,"date":"2016-12-01T21:20:43","date_gmt":"2016-12-02T02:20:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.campbell.edu\/?page_id=553"},"modified":"2025-05-08T15:56:00","modified_gmt":"2025-05-08T19:56:00","slug":"transferability-information","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.campbell.edu\/admissions\/undergraduate\/veterans\/transferability-information\/","title":{"rendered":"Transferability Information"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Beginning June 29, 2009, service members will go to <a href=\"https:\/\/milconnect.dmdc.osd.mil\/milconnect\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">milConnect<\/a> to transfer POST 9\/11 GI Bill<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> benefits. When the web portal shows APPROVAL of the transfer, the family member should then complete the application (VA Form 22-1990E) on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.va.gov\/education\/how-to-apply\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Department of Veterans Affairs webpage<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Under the POST 9\/11 GI Bill<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>, VA will pay an annual cap to private institutions of higher learning. Campbell University is currently participating in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.campbell.edu\/admissions\/undergraduate\/veterans\/yellow-ribbon-program\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Yellow Ribbon program<\/a>. This program is a renewable agreement between the University and the Department of Veterans Affairs to fund tuition and fee expenses that exceed the highest public in-state undergraduate tuition rate.<\/p>\n<p>Please contact the Campbell University Veterans Affairs Office at 910-893-1311 for information about the Post 9\/11 GI Bill<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> or the Yellow Ribbon Program.
