{"id":912,"date":"2016-12-01T21:06:52","date_gmt":"2016-12-02T02:06:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.campbell.edu\/?page_id=912"},"modified":"2025-05-13T09:26:27","modified_gmt":"2025-05-13T13:26:27","slug":"policies","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.campbell.edu\/financial-aid\/policies\/","title":{"rendered":"Policies"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>FERPA<\/h2>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974, 20 U.S.C. \u00a7 1232g (FERPA) is a Federal law that protects the confidentiality of student information.\u00a0 More specifically, FERPA protects personally identifiable information in students\u2019 education records from disclosure without written consent unless an exception to the consent requirement applies.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The FERPA form can be obtained in person at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.campbell.edu\/financial-aid\/contact-financial-aid\/\">Office of Financial Aid<\/a>\u00a0or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.campbell.edu\/bursars-office\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Bursar&#8217;s Office<\/a>.<\/p>\n<a class=\"button button--filled button--theme-orange\" href=\"https:\/\/www.campbell.edu\/registrar\/family-education-rights-and-privacy-act-ferpa\/\" >View Campbell's FERPA policy<\/a>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>Verification of FAFSA<\/h2>\n<p>On average, 1 in 3 students are selected for verification. The verification process must be completed in order for Campbell University\u2019s Office of Financial Aid to determine your eligibility for federal and state aid.<\/p>\n<a class=\"button
